Introduction
Go to Insights > Scheduled Reports to see an overview and create new scheduled reports.
Create a Scheduled Report
- Select the Create Scheduled Report button.
- On the General tab, enter the follow information:
- Name
The name of the report shown in the overview. - Description
The description of the report shown in the overview. - Report Template
The type of report. For this example, we are using the "Managed Users" report. - Email Subject
The subject line of the email sent to each recipient. - Which user groups do you want to send this report to?
The HelloID user groups who are sent this report. Each member of the group is emailed a copy. - Enabled
Turn off to stop sending emails for this report.
- Name
- Select the Next button to continue.
- On the Linked Reports tab, you may append any number of additional reports to the scheduled report as hyperlinks. These links navigate back to the reporting interface, so be sure you've enabled proper access. For this example, we'll choose the "Audit User Activity" report, give it the same display name, and select the plus button (+) to add it.
- Select the Next button to continue.
- On the Schedules tab, select the Add Schedule button to choose when and how often the report will be generated and emailed.
- Configure the schedule as you see fit and select the Save button. Learn more about managing schedules here.
- The new scheduled report appears in the overview.
Report Emails
At the scheduled time(s), a copy of the report is generated and emailed to each user in the chosen user groups. Reports are automatically customized for each user as necessary.
Note the "Audit User Activity" report link that we added.
