Approval workflows allow you to customize how a request for a Self Service product is handled. By default, all requests must be singularly approved or denied by the owner of the requested product. However, workflows may be configured in other ways. For example, you can create a workflow that automatically approves or denies certain requests, without any manual response by the product owner. Or, on the other hand, you can create a workflow that requires responses from multiple people within your organization.
Workflows are created independently of Self Service products. Once created, the same workflow may be assigned to any number of products.
Approval Workflows Overview
Go to Self Service > Approval workflows to see an overview of all the approval workflows in your HelloID environment.
The following information is displayed for each workflow:
The approval workflow's name. Select the Edit link under the Actions column to change this value.
Whether or not a particular workflow is configured to be the default workflow for all new products. Only one workflow is the default at any given time.
View or change the workflow's details by selecting the Edit link. Remove the workflow from HelloID by selecting the Delete link.
