Before a task that relies on a specific system is created, that system must be added to HelloID as a source, target, or connection system. Go to Automation > Systems to get started.
Create a system
Each system requires different connection parameters. Some require a username and password, others require an API key, while others require a path to a signing certificate.
- Select the Create System button to bring up the System Catalog.
- Find or search for the relevant system and select its Add button. In this example, we'll add a connection to Dropbox.
- The next screen will prompt for a that system's specific connection details. You may also change the system's name so that you can more easily identify it later.
- Select the Save button when you are finished. The new system will be added to the systems overview.
Edit a system
If you need to change a system's connection details, select its pencil button to open its connection details dialog.
Delete a system
To remove a system from HelloID entirely, select the system's trashcan button. You will be prompted to confirm your decision, and then that system will be removed. If there are any tasks that target that system, they will cease to function.
