Audit logs
HelloID's audit logs store long-term records about activity in your HelloID portal.
All report data is updated in real time. Time zones reflect the Time Zone setting in Company settings.
Reports are built on the Elastic Stack, using Kibana as a visualization frontend.
To get started, Grant access to audit logs, and then View a report.
Data is guaranteed to be retained for one year. If you need a longer retention period, Access audit log data via REST API to export the logs to your own SIEM solution.
Manually writing messages into audit logs
Most events written into audit logs are automatically captured & handled by HelloID in the background. However, there are a few objects from which you can manually compose audit log messages:
