Introduction
The look and feel of your HelloID environment may be customized to best suit your organization. Colors, themes, and images can be changed. For example, you may upload your own company logo and icon that end users will see on the logon screen. You may also change the colors of the user interface to match corporate branding standards. Additionally, you may also use custom CSS for more fine-tuned styling.
To get started, navigate to Settings > Appearance on the HelloID Administrator Dashboard.
Customize HelloID's Appearance
In the Appearance section, you are presented with several tabs, each controlling various aspects of your HelloID environment's appearance. At any time, you may click the Reset custom styling button to revert all of your changes back to their default settings.
Logos & Icons
On this tab, you may change the company logo, icon, and the login background. For the background, you may choose from several predefined options or upload your own.
Theme
This tab allows you to choose from predefined themes for HelloID. You may also alter the color scheme of each theme by enabling the Advanced Theme Settings option.
Custom CSS
For additional tweaks to the appearance of HelloID, you may add your own custom CSS. With this, you may drastically change the overall look and feel of your HelloID environment. This is done at your own risk, however, as it is possible to render your HelloID user interface inaccessible.
All changes that you make to the custom CSS here are previewed live on the HelloID Admin Dashboard.
In the case where you must remove your custom CSS, but are unable to do so through the user interface, you may access the following URL: https://<portal url>/admin/settings/resetcustomcss
Note: Replace <portal url> in the address above with your company's base HelloID URL. E.g., enyoi.helloid.com
Tile Behavior
This tab gives you the ability to control whether or not applications in the HelloID User Dashboard open in a new browser tab or in the same tab.
Advanced
This tab gives you the ability to control whether or not graphs are shown on the HelloID Administrator Dashboard. In some larger environments, this can increase performance of the HelloID Administrator Dashboard.
Other related settings
The Settings > Appearance menu controls the most prominent aspects of your HelloID portal's look and feel. However, there are some additional settings elsewhere in the HelloID administrator dashboard, which you may also want to change:
- Enable Text on Login Page, an option available when configuring an Identity Provider.
