Note: Only applies to BI reports
These settings only apply to the older BI reports system. The newer Elastic reports system (recommended) does not have any logging settings. It logs and retains all data for one year.
Introduction
Logging gives you insight into usage of your HelloID environment, such as how many times authentication has taken place or how often an application has been opened. Logging is particularly useful for audit compliance.
Go to Settings > Logging to manage logging behavior.
To view logged data, see Elastic Reports - Overview.
Log types
The first three logs are enabled by default. Click the toggles to change the default setting.
Log retention
The Log Retention number controls how many days the log's data will be available. At the end of the retention period, the data is deleted.
When a log is disabled, it will keep the historical data through the end of its specified retention period. For example, if you disable Log Action Events today and the retention period is set to 90 days, the log will remain accessible for those 90 days.
