Introduction
More than one Agent can be installed in your environment for load balancing and separation of duties. When multiple Agents are present, they are grouped inside Agent Pools.
When any on-premise job is launched, it is sent to an Agent Pool, which then determines which HelloID Agent inside that pool is available and suited for the job.
This is particularly useful when you are using Active Directory as an identity provider for HelloID, to ensure maximum availability if a certain Agent is busy or has failed.

Your new Agent Pool has been created, but it is empty. For an Agent Pool to be functional, there needs to be at least one Agent inside of it. However, we recommend having more than one Agent within a pool to increase performance and reliability. Learn how to install Agents here.
