Introduction
Go to Self Service > Request History to see an overview of all Self Service product requests.
The following information is available for each request:
- Product
The name and icon of the product being requested. - Request Time
The date and time at which the request was submitted. - Requested For
The name and profile image of the person for whom the product was requested. - Requested By
The name and profile image of the person who submitted the product request. - State
The current state of the request. E.g., Approved, Completed, Requested, Returned, etc. Hover over the state label to see additional information about the request.Request time
When the user submitted the request.
Return date
The return date that the user specified in the request, if applicable (not the date that the user actually returned the product).
Comment
The comment that the user entered in the request, if applicable.
Handled by
The most recent approver who responded to the request, if applicable. Not shown if the request was handled from the admin dashboard in Self Service > Administration. - Actions
Select the Open Details link to open the request details pane.
Request Details
Selecting the Open Details link under the Actions column brings up a pane showing:
- Product Details
Extended information about the product request. - Request Details
Who submitted the request, and who the requested product is for. - Form Result
Form submission details (if any). - Request Timeline
The time and date the request was submitted, and subsequent actions taken on it. - Tasks for Request
Any tasks that were launched as a result of the request process.
In the above example, we can see that employee John Doe has requested a 50 GB Dropbox folder, via a product request with an attached form. The administrator approved the request, and a task was launched as a result.
Select the View log link to view additional details about a task. Select the Mark as succeeded link to manually mark a failed or stalled task as succeeded. Select the Retry link to retry a task.
