Navigate to Self Service > Request History in order to see an overview of all requests made via Self Service. Search for specific product requests using the search bar or by scrolling through the list. The table can be sorted by clicking on the column headers and is sorted according to the request date in this example.
The following information is available for each requested product:
This column shows the name and the icon of the product being requested.
- Request Time
The date and time at which the request was submitted.
- Requested For
The name and profile image of the person for whom the product was requested.
- Requested By
The name and profile image of the person who submitted the product request.
The current state of the request. E.g., Approved, Completed, Requested, Returned, etc.
Click Open Details in this column to get more information about a request.
Additional details for a product request can be found by clicking Open details under the action column. This brings up a dialog showing extended information on a product, its request timeline, and the tasks that were launched as a result of the request or its state.
In the following screenshot, we can see that employee Tjeerd Seinen has requested read access to a particular folder, which is managed by Walter Daamens. Walter approved Tjeerd's request, and as a result a task was launched that changed Tjeerd's Active Directory group memberships.
You can see more information about a task by clicking on the View log link. Additionally, you can manually mark a failed task as succeeded by clicking on Mark as succeeded. You may also relaunch a task by clicking Retry. Learn more about tasks here.
