HelloID

Identity & authentication

Users can sign in to the HelloID portal for various purposes, for example, to access a SSO application, request a product, or carry out administrative tasks. Their HelloID user account determines how they sign in to the HelloID portal, how they authenticate, and which features are available to them.

  • Directory sync and user management: Synchronize users and groups from your organization's external directory system (e.g., Active Directory) into HelloID Users and Groups. Or, create and update users and groups through the Provisioning module with HelloID as a target system.

    Tip

HelloID users and groups are essential for the self-service and delegation features of HelloID Service Automation and for accessing SSO applications in HelloID Access Management.

  • Security & access control: Configure Identity providers (IdPs), enforce 2FA, password policies, portal access rules, and other Security settings to protect HelloID user accounts and control access to the HelloID portal.

  • Roles & rights control what users can access and how they interact with the different HelloID modules.
