Provisioning
HelloID Provisioning automates your organization's user account lifecycle. It connects a single source of truth for employee data—typically a human resources database—to a myriad of target systems such as Active Directory or Google Workspace.
To access the provisioning dashboard, select the Provisioning icon in the top menu bar of the HelloID admin dashboard:

Important
Access to HelloID Provisioning is controlled by the Provisioning — Manage right:

To grant users access to Provisioning (including your own administrator account), Add a role named Provisioning
, Configure rights for a role to give it the Provisioning - Manage right, and finally Link a role to a user for all relevant users. Users must log out and back in to HelloID to complete the process.
HelloID Provisioning performs best when operating within the recommended Performance limits.
Provisioning workflow
Add & configure one or more Source systems, which are the external systems of record which hold your organization's personnel data. (Typically, only one.)
Add & configure one or more Target systems, which are the external systems/applications in which your employees need user accounts. (Typically, several.)
Perform Imports of your source systems to import their raw personnel data into HelloID. HelloID combines the latest imports from each source system into Snapshots. Based on the latest snapshot, HelloID generates Persons objects. These are intermediary objects which "bridge" data from source to target systems.
If needed, use Person aggregation to merge duplicate persons.
Create and configure Business rules, which specify the Entitlements that persons should receive, and under what conditions. Entitlements can include target system accounts, account access, group memberships, and permissions (custom entitlements).
Perform Evaluation and Enforcement to preview and apply the entitlements specified in business rules. During enforcement, changes are written into your target systems.
Typically, you'll also want to configure recurring imports & enforcements. Do this with Schedules, coupled with Notifications.
