Multiple source systems
If your organization's raw personnel data resides in more than one external system of record, add additional source systems to HelloID.
To get started, simply repeat the steps in Add a source system.
Each source system is configured independently and has its own separate Imports process.
Although persons imported from all source systems are combined in Snapshots and displayed together in the Persons list, each person object remains tied to its origin source system. Imports will never overwrite similar persons objects imported from other source systems. If duplication occurs, a duplicate person is created, tied to the new source system. It is possible to Manually merge persons.
The Source System field in the person object schema indicates which source system the person was imported from.
Tip
To more clearly distinguish persons' origin source systems, Format display names to include the {Source.DisplayName} field:
During the next snapshot, person display names will be updated accordingly.
