Target snapshots
A target snapshot is the result of an account and permission import from a target system. It shows the number of imported, enabled, and disabled accounts, the number of imported permissions, the name of the system, and the fields by which persons in HelloID are correlated with accounts in the target system.
Target snapshots are generated in one of the following ways:
In the entitlements import process. Creating a snapshot is the first step in this process.
When a Reconciliation report is generated. This can be done manually, or on a monthly schedule.
Note
The Reconciliation feature requires a Governance license.
A target snapshot always involves only one particular target system. If a reconciliation report covers multiple target systems, a separate snapshot is taken of each target system when generating that report.
Note
Target snapshots can only be created once per hour. However, a failed target snapshot can be retried immediately.
Note
Target snapshots support a maximum of 30 million total records. This includes accounts and permissions from all target systems. This limit is in place to ensure stable calculations. It may be increased in the future as performance improvements are made.
