Recertification requests
Recertification campaigns can be configured to trigger recertification requests. Recertification requests follow the product's approval workflow to confirm or revoke access.
If a recertification request is denied, the product is returned. If it is approved, the user for whom it was requested will retain access to the product. The approver can choose to reset the product expiration date, which will then be set according to the product’s maximum configured time limit.
Any requests that a logged in user can approve or deny appear on the Recertification requests end-user page.
Depending on the recertification settings. approvers may receive an email notification when a recertification request is waiting for their approval, each time a new campaign iteration is started.
Note
Recertification requests for multiple assigned or conflicting products cannot yet be resolved.
Note
To view the recertification requests end-user page, you must have the Recertification - Recertify right and be a member of the configured recertifcation campaign access group.
The HelloID Recertification Management - Manage recertification settings right is required to manage recertification settings.
Specify approvers
If the 'Specify approvers' setting is disabled for the product's approval workflow, members of the fallback approval workflow group will be prompted to review the recertification request. The fallback approval workflow group is selected in the recertification settings, which apply to all campaigns.
If there are no approvers for a certain recertification request, a button to notify the service desk will appear in the product request timeline, which is accessible from the recertification insights page.
