If you need custom functionality that isn't available in the standard AD target connector, you can instead connect via PowerShell. To do so, Add a PowerShell target system and follow the normal procedure to Configure a PowerShell target system, using the resources provided here: https://github.com/Tools4everBV/HelloID-Conn-Prov-Target-ActiveDirectory.
