Access Management Agent

mceclip1.png

The Access Management Agent service is named HelloID Directory Agent. It is responsible for on-premises operations associated with the Access Management module of HelloID. These include:

  • Synchronizing users into HelloID from an on-premises Active Directory configuration (see AD sync)

  • Authenticating users into HelloID when using the AD Agent IdP

Caution

Note that the Access Management Agent is responsible for running Service Automation Pre-defined tasks and Scheduled tasks.

To get started, Install an on-premises Agent.

The log files for the Access Management Agent can be found at: C:\ProgramData\Tools4ever\HelloID Directory Agent\log\.

Note

Unlike HelloID Service Automation and HelloID Provisioning, HelloID Access Management does not have a cloud Agent. It only has an on-premises Agent.
