Service Automation Agent
There are two types of Service Automation Agent:
On-premises Service Automation Agent service: Runs on a server in your organization's network. Necessary if you need to execute code on-premises.
Cloud Service Automation Agent: Runs on the Tools4ever cloud. Easier to use if you don't need to execute code on-premises.
Both the on-premises and cloud SA Agent support the following:
Running PowerShell data sources
Running Delegated form tasks
Running PowerShell Product actions
Caution
Note that the HelloID Directory Agent is responsible for running Service Automation Pre-defined tasks and Scheduled tasks.
Tip
Recommended: Use the Cloud Service Automation Agent unless you specifically require on-premises Agent functionality.
