Azure AD target systems
Azure AD target connectors provision user accounts into an Azure AD system.
Warning
Azure AD target systems are deprecated. It is no longer possible to add new Azure AD target systems. For new implementations, use the Entra ID connector instead - a PowerShell v2 connector found on GitHub.
Existing Azure AD target systems will continue to work and you can still Edit or remove an Azure AD target system.
Note, however, that the built-in connector for Azure AD target systems has limitations, compared to the Entra ID connector. For example, it cannot import entitlements from an Azure AD target system.
Before removing an Azure AD target system, carefully consider the consequences. Since Azure AD target systems are deprecated, it is no longer possible to create a new Azure AD target system. Ensure that you have reviewed all dependencies and possible effects before taking this action. Deletion cannot be undone.
