Re-correlate a person's target account
If an account needs to be managed (again) and linked to a person in HelloID, you can accomplish this by using HelloID's correlation feature. To do so, follow these steps.
Make sure that the person is in scope of a business rule that grants the account: View a person's business rules, or go to Business > Rules, open a business rule and view the in-scope persons in the Persons pane.
Ensure that HelloID's correlation feature is enabled for the relevant target system:
Active Directory Correlation
Azure AD Correlation
PowerShell v2 Correlation
Either:
Manually correlate an account using the Import entitlements report.
Update the value of the fields selected as Person Correlation Field and Account Correlation Field in the source system and/or target system using the external admin console, so that the fields have matching values.
Manually correlate an account using the Correlation report if you need to change the account attribute and the target system is Azure AD.
Wait until the business rules get applied, or perform a new Enforcement.
Alternatively, if the same person has previously been granted an account in the same target system by HelloID, go to Persons > Entitlements, select the person, and then Re-enforce an entitlement for the person's Account entitlement in the relevant target system.
HelloID correlates the target account to the (main) person. The account is now managed by HelloID and will receive person data and entitlement updates.
