Custom notification events (conditional notifications)
If the default Notification events aren't fine-grained enough for your needs, you can create a custom event that only fires when a specific condition is met in a specific mapped field. For example, an event that fires when a user's department changes during an account update. In this way, custom events let you set up conditional notifications.

Custom events are only supported for PowerShell v2 target systems and Active Directory target systems.
