Update permissions

Use the Update Permissions feature to force the Update step to run on all Permission-type entitlements within a single permission set that are currently granted in the relevant target system, during the next Enforcement.

This feature is potentially useful after you have edited the permission set's update code.

For a permission set using a Single permission script, this feature runs the script with $operation set to update. For a permission set using Separate permission scripts, this feature runs the Update permission script.

To get started, Update a permission set.

The following types of changes are included:

  • Persons or Contracts data in the current snapshot which is used in the permission set's update code

  • The permission set's update code itself.
