Raw data inspection
A raw data import fetches the latest raw personnel data from the external source system for inspection purposes only. It does not generate a new snapshot.
To get started, Fetch raw data and then Inspect raw data or Preview mappings.
The purpose of a raw data import is to let you view the latest raw personnel data from the source system, unmodified by HelloID, or alternately to preview your source mappings using that data.
To say it again, a raw data import never affects snapshots, and therefore never alters the in-production set of Persons (not even if the raw data import is followed by a manual snapshot). To update in-production persons after raw personnel data has changed in a source system, you must perform a full import (e.g., Run a manual import).
